Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University is a higher education institution. The University's structure consists of 5 Institutes and a University College. University’s  Portrait:  Students – 6330/6750, Academic staff – 554, Doctors and Candidates of Sciences – 244,  Professors and Docents – 157.  The aim of education at the University is training competent, humanistically oriented specialists who have mastered the complex of contemporary fundamental knowledge, skills of self-study, high responsibility, ability of professional self-assessment. The efficiency of University's work provides for constant interaction with educational and academic institutions of the city of Kyiv, means innovative approach to the realization of progressive pedagogical theories and methods of teaching, renovation of programmes and curricula according to new education challenges and standards.

Waldorf Pedagogy Development: project functioning since 2006 in cooperation with Internationale Assoziation für Waldorfpädagogik offering courses and trainings on Waldorf pedagogics. 2. Innovative Knowledge Center which the mission is to fight poverty and to help people help themselves and their environment by providing resources, sharing knowledge, building capacity and forging partnerships in the public and private sectors. 3.Training for Managers in Education: project aiming at professionalization of management of education by training for Managers in Education according to the European Levels, Standards and Core Competences.

Viktor Ogneviuk, Professor

Rector of Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University.

Doctor of Philosophy, Academician of the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine. 23 years of experience in secondary and higher education and educational management, including the position of Deputy Minister of Education. Under his leadership the university has made a leap forward, opening new majors, improving learning facilities and introducing professional training for teachers and staff. Field of interest: educational sciences, philosophy of education. Author of more than 70 publications.

Rusudan Makhachashvili

Post-doctorate (Habilitation degree), specialization field – Linguistic Philosophy, Germanic languages. Thesis title “English Logosphere of Cyberspace Dynamics”.
